Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 24 September 2026
Important: These Terms govern your use of Footix. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, shared, retained and protected. Some privacy matters, including biometric data and international transfers, are governed primarily by the Privacy Policy and any separate consent flows shown in the Services.
1. Agreement to These Terms
Footix ("Footix", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website https://www.footix.com.br, the Footix mobile application, and related services (together, the "Services"). Footix is a digital platform for grassroots and amateur sports, including tournament management, teams, player profiles, match sheets, rankings, photographs, videos, highlights, live streams, payments, social features and related media tools.
By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a club, tournament, team, company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
2. Contact Details
You can contact us at:

3. Privacy Policy and Data Protection
Your use of the Services is also governed by the Footix Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy describes the categories of personal data we process, our purposes and legal bases, retention practices, data-protection rights, recipients and processors, international transfers, cookies or similar technologies, and any additional information required by applicable privacy laws.
These Terms do not replace the Privacy Policy and do not, by themselves, establish consent for all privacy processing. Where applicable law requires a separate consent, including explicit consent for biometric identification, we will request it separately.
Personal data may include account details, profile information, team and tournament participation, match statistics, photographs, video, audio, uploaded content, payment-related records, device and usage information, approximate location information where available, and AI-derived timestamps, labels, clips or statistics. If facial recognition is enabled for a user, personal data may also include biometric information as described below and in the Privacy Policy.
4. Eligibility and Minors
The Services are intended for users who can lawfully use them under applicable law. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use the Services only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Parents, guardians, clubs, schools, coaches, team managers and tournament organisers are responsible for ensuring they have the permissions required to register, invite, manage, photograph, film or upload information about minors. Where a minor appears in a match, tournament, photograph, video, live stream, highlight or profile, the responsible adult or organisation must ensure that the required consent, notice or legal basis exists.
Facial recognition or biometric identification of minors is not enabled unless Footix specifically enables it for that context and all required parent or guardian permissions and legal requirements are satisfied. We may refuse, disable or remove child-related biometric features where we consider the legal or safety risk too high.
5. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated. You must not create accounts using false identities, impersonate another person, or access another user's account without permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe there has been misuse, fraud, security risk, rights infringement, unlawful activity, or breach of these Terms.
6. Tournament, Team and Player Features
Footix provides tools for creating and managing tournaments, teams, squads, fixtures, standings, player profiles, match sheets, rankings, media galleries, live broadcasts, highlights and related social features. Organisers and team managers are responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter, including fixtures, results, rosters, player details, disciplinary records and uploaded media.
Stats, rankings, fantasy-style points, match events and other sports data may depend on information entered by users, extracted from match sheets, generated by automated systems, or inferred from media. These outputs may contain errors and should be reviewed by organisers before being treated as official.
7. Photography, Video Recording and Media Rights
By participating in tournaments, matches, events or activities managed, organised, uploaded to or supported by Footix, you acknowledge that you may be photographed, filmed, live streamed or otherwise recorded. Your image, likeness, voice, performance, team name, player name, shirt number, statistics and participation may appear in photographs, videos, live streams, highlights, social posts, player profiles, tournament pages and other media generated through or uploaded to the Services.
Footix, photographers, videographers, tournament organisers, teams and other authorised contributors may upload and publish media related to matches and events. Ownership of media and intellectual property rights may belong to Footix, the photographer, videographer, organiser, contributor, licensor or another rights holder, depending on the applicable agreement and law.
You must not assume that ownership of a photograph or video removes the privacy or data-protection rights of identifiable people appearing in it. Copyright and personal-data processing are separate matters.
If you believe media on Footix infringes your rights, violates privacy rights, involves a child without proper authority, or should be removed for safety or legal reasons, contact us at admin@footix.com.br.
8. Automated Video, Photo and Audio Analysis
Footix may use automated systems, including artificial intelligence and machine-learning technologies, to process match footage, photographs and audio. These systems may support features such as detecting goals or other match actions, generating highlights, creating timestamps, organising media, identifying likely player or team moments, improving search, producing statistics, improving content discovery, and supporting moderation or platform operations.
Automated analysis may produce predictions, classifications, timestamps, clips, labels, statistics or other derived information. These outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Unless expressly stated otherwise, automated sports analysis is intended to support sporting, media and operational features and is not used to make legal or similarly significant decisions about users.
Automated sports-event detection, such as identifying a possible goal or save in a video, is distinct from facial recognition or biometric identification. Footix may use one without using the other.
9. Facial Recognition and Biometric Identification
Where specifically enabled and permitted by applicable law, Footix may use facial recognition technology to identify or associate registered participants with photographs or video footage. This may involve detecting a face, extracting or processing biometric characteristics or facial templates, and comparing those characteristics with reference data provided by or authorised for the participant.
Facial recognition and biometric identification are sensitive features. Where applicable law requires consent, including explicit consent for biometric data, Footix will request that consent separately before enabling the relevant identification feature for the individual concerned. Acceptance of these general Terms is not intended to be the only consent mechanism for biometric identification where a separate consent is required.
Refusing or withdrawing consent to biometric identification will not prevent access to unrelated Services, although certain features that depend on identity matching in photographs or videos may not be available. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out before withdrawal.
Further information about purposes, legal bases, retention, recipients, international transfers and rights relating to biometric data is provided in the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific consent notice shown in the Services.
10. User Content and Contributions
"Contributions" means content you submit, upload, publish, send or otherwise make available through the Services, including profile information, player data, team data, match information, text, images, videos, audio, logos, sponsor materials, comments, reactions, feedback and other materials.
You are responsible for your Contributions. You represent that you have the rights, permissions and lawful basis needed to upload, publish or share them, including any required permissions from players, parents or guardians, photographers, videographers, teams, sponsors, organisers or other rights holders.
You grant Footix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, publish, distribute, transmit and otherwise use your Contributions as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, promote and provide the Services, including media galleries, player profiles, tournament pages, highlights, social feeds, notifications, search, support and safety features. This licence does not override privacy rights or data-protection rights that apply to personal data within your Contributions.
You must not upload illegal, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually explicit, exploitative, defamatory, infringing, privacy-invasive, misleading or otherwise prohibited content. We may remove content, restrict visibility, disable downloads, suspend accounts, or report unlawful activity where required or permitted by law.
11. Protected Content, Downloads and Watermarks
Photographs, videos, highlights, graphics, player cards, logos, sponsor assets and other media available through Footix may be protected by copyright, neighbouring rights, database rights, trade marks, privacy rights, publicity rights and other legal protections.
Unless a feature expressly allows it, you must not copy, scrape, download, redistribute, resell, alter, remove watermarks from, remove rights-management information from, or commercially exploit protected content without permission from the applicable rights holder.
Some media may be shown with watermarks, previews or reduced quality before payment or authorisation. Downloading, sharing or using clean or unwatermarked files may require a purchase, licence or other permission.
12. Payments, Purchases and Photographer Content
Footix may allow users to buy photographs, videos, highlights, bundles, subscriptions, passes or other digital products. Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Additional provider terms may apply.
Prices, taxes, fees, currency conversion, platform fees, photographer payouts and download availability may vary by country, product, tournament, photographer or feature. We may update prices or fee structures prospectively. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, digital media purchases may be non-refundable once access or download is provided.
13. International Transfers
Footix is operated from Ireland and may use service providers, infrastructure and processors located in other countries, including cloud hosting, analytics, AI processing, email, payment, storage, content delivery and support providers. Your information may therefore be processed in countries outside your country of residence.
Where data-protection law requires transfer safeguards, Footix will rely on appropriate legal mechanisms described in the Privacy Policy, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, contractual safeguards, processor commitments or other lawful transfer mechanisms. Continued use of the Services alone is not intended to replace transfer safeguards where applicable law requires them.
14. Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining tournament history, preserving media archives, complying with law, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, enforcing rights, and supporting safety and security.
Different categories of information may have different retention periods. For example, raw live footage, generated clips, purchased media, player profile data, match statistics, payment records, logs and facial templates may be retained for different periods depending on the purpose, legal basis, product configuration and applicable law.
Where available, you may request deletion or restriction through the Services or by contacting us. We may retain certain records where required or permitted by law, for legitimate business purposes, or where deletion would affect another person's rights, paid downloads, tournament integrity, security, accounting, dispute handling or legal compliance.
15. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to misuse the Services. Prohibited activity includes:
- using the Services unlawfully or fraudulently;
- harassing, abusing, threatening or discriminating against others;
- uploading content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity or data-protection rights;
- uploading content involving minors without appropriate authority;
- attempting to bypass payment, access-control, watermarking, download or security measures;
- scraping, harvesting, copying or bulk downloading content without permission;
- interfering with live streams, broadcasts, scoring, timers, match sheets or platform integrity;
- reverse engineering, probing, attacking or disrupting the Services;
- using automated systems to create accounts, spam users or manipulate rankings, likes, follows, purchases or statistics;
- misrepresenting match results, player identity, age, team membership or tournament authority.
16. Third-Party Services
The Services may integrate or link to third-party services, including payment processors, cloud providers, content delivery networks, maps, analytics, AI providers, app stores, social platforms, email services and external streaming or video tools. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy notices.
17. Service Availability and Changes
We aim to provide reliable Services, but we do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free or compatible with every device, browser, country, network or third-party service. We may modify, suspend, discontinue, limit or replace features, including beta features, at any time where reasonably necessary.
AI features, automatic match sheet reading, automatic highlight generation, live streaming and facial recognition features may be experimental, beta, country-limited, or dependent on media quality, hardware, network conditions, user configuration, third-party providers and legal requirements.
18. Intellectual Property
The Services, software, design, trademarks, brand assets, templates, generated layouts, player card designs, platform workflows and other Footix materials are owned by Footix or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use them only as allowed by the Services and these Terms.
You must not copy, reproduce, sell, license, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit Footix materials except as expressly permitted by us.
19. Disclaimer
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, accuracy and reliability.
Sports statistics, match sheets, rankings, highlights, AI-generated outputs, facial recognition matches, player identifications, media tags and other derived information may be inaccurate and should be checked before being relied on for official, disciplinary, legal, financial or safety decisions.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Footix and its directors, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunity or business, arising from or related to your use of the Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
21. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Footix harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, your Contributions, your infringement of third-party rights, your unlawful processing or upload of personal data, or your failure to obtain permissions required for players, minors, teams, media or events.
22. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms, create legal or security risk, misuse media, infringe rights, fail to pay amounts due, or use the Services in a way that may harm users, Footix, tournaments, teams, photographers, partners or third parties.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Certain provisions, including intellectual property, media rights, payment records, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity and dispute provisions, may continue after account closure where legally appropriate.
23. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence. If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer rights, nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
24. Country-Specific Legal Requirements
Privacy, biometric, child-protection, consumer, image-rights, broadcasting and sports laws vary by country. Footix may restrict, disable or modify features by country, tournament, user role or event type where required for legal, safety or operational reasons.
In Brazil, personal data may be subject to the Lei Geral de Protecao de Dados (LGPD), including special protections for sensitive personal data and children or adolescents. In the EU and Ireland, personal data may be subject to GDPR and Irish data-protection law. Other countries may have their own privacy and biometric rules. The Privacy Policy provides further information about how we handle personal data and rights requests.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where required, we will notify you of material changes. Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Services.
